Irish Linen

Our exclusive custom-woven Irish linen is engineered to age beautifully, softening with every wear while maintaining its structural integrity. Developed directly with a family-run heritage mill this bespoke fabric features a unique warp and weft composed of subtly different coloured yarns. This meticulous weave creates a dynamic iridescent effect that gently shifts in the light bringing a multi-dimensional depth to our minimalist tailoring.

Wash Less, Air More:

Linen is naturally antibacterial and dirt resistant Refresh your garments between wears by hanging them in a well ventilated room

Gentle Cycle Only:

Machine wash on a gentle or wool cycle with cool water (maximum 30 degrees) Use a mild fluid detergent and avoid over loading the machine to prevent deep, erratic creasing that can disrupt the hang of the fabric.

No Tumble Dry:

Never tumble dry tailored linen Reshape the garment while damp and lay it flat or hang it on a padded hanger to air dry away from direct sunlight, protecting the shifting colour tones from UV fading.

Steam or Iron:

Use a garment steamer rather than a traditional iron to preserve the structured silhouette. If you do use an iron it should be on a medium-hot setting with steam, and ironed while the fabric is still slightly damp, press on the reverse side to protect the optical quality of the weave.

Brushed Cotton Twill

Our brushed cotton twill is chosen for its eceptional softness, dense warmth and structural weight. By gently brushing the surface of a durable twill weave we create a plush suede like nap that retains heat while maintaining a clean silhouette. Proper care preserves this signature velvety texure and prevents pilling.

Wash Inside Out:

Always turn our garments inside ot before washing. This protects the rshed surface ro riction against the machine drum, preventing pilling.

Cool Water and Mild Detergent:

Wash on a gentle cycle using cool or lukewarm water (maximum 30 degrees) Harsh detergents and high heat can strip the soft nap and cause the colour to fade prematurely. Remoe the arment rom the washing machine promptly to avoid crease lines where dye can settle.

Avoid Fabric Softeners:

Avoid liquid softeners and dryer sheets. They leave a chemical residue that coats the brushed fibres, flattening the texture and reducing breathability.

Drying:

Air drying is preferable. Lay flat or hang to dry.

Melton Wool

Our Melton wool is a heavy, tightly woven fabric prized for its exceptional wind resistance, dense structure and smooth felt like finish. Heavily milled and compressed, this robust fabric holds our architectural tailoring flawlessly. It is naturally dirt and water repellent.

Brush To Refresh:

Maintain your garment by using a stiff brush after every few wears Brush downwards to remove surface dirt.

Dry Clean Only:

Melton wool jackets should only be dry cleaned once or twice a year. Excessie dry cleaning strips the natural lanolin oils making the fibres brittle.

Spot Clean:

For small spills, blot immediately with a clean damp cloth and cold water – never rub as this can felt the wool fibres. Use a drop of liquid wool detergent if necessary, then blot dry with a clean towel.
